Tim received a degree in economics from Eastern Illinois University where he was a Hall of Fame football player. He went on to play professionally with the Chicago Bears. Julie Warner, Vice President of Finance:
Julie, who holds a Master of Business Administration degree, began her career with Digital Copy Systems in 2002. She’s inspired by pretty much any Colin Powell quote, but the following ranks among her favorites: “Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence.”
Julie loves watching her children grow up, and is thrilled to be a huge part of lives. Starbucks coffee helps her keep up with her busy schedule, which includes watching sports when possible. Favorite teams include the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs. She squeezes in a good book whenever she can find the time.
Mark Mathias, Vice President of Service:
Mark, the vice president of our Service department, joined Digital Copy Systems in 2009. He spends his free time listening to music or playing both tennis and the guitar.
Jeff Lowman, Branch/Field Service Manager:
Jeff is a graduate of both the Lincoln Technical Institute and the Quincy Technical Institute. He is Samsung-trained and certified in Canon’s full line, and began working at Digital Copy Systems in 2002. Jeff enjoys hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, coaching basketball and spending time with family in his off-hours.
Wayne Urfer, Service Manager:
Wayne joined the company in 2003, and has logged over 18 years in the industry as of 2014. His full Canon training includes Image Press Black & White and Color, in addition to “train-the-trainer” certification. Outside work, Wayne’s interests include his wife, children and grandchildren. He is heavily involved with his church, and restores vintage cars when time permits.
Tim Hofer, Warehouse Manager:
Warehouse manager Tim Hofer is in charge of inventory control at DCS. Tim, who began working with us in 2006, is inspired by Vince Lombardi’s wise words: “The only place you’ll find success before work is in the dictionary.”
When not at work, Tim loves spending time with his wife and two teenage daughters. He enjoys hiking in the Shawnee National Forest and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Charles P. Elwyn, Special Assignment:
A 40-year veteran of Caterpillar, Inc., Charles has provided his leadership to a number of areas including operations, logistics, human resources, facilities engineering and labor relations. He served in the United States Marine Corps where he received three meritorious promotions. He is a six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and Program Champion.
Charles volunteers his time to the Peoria Christian Rescue Mission, the Children’s Evangelical Foundation and Heddington Oaks Nursing Home. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and says, “I’d rather be wet and cold on my Harley than warm and dry in a car.”
